Scott Sloan - Head Varsity Men's Coach

Coach Sloan completed his second season as a Scholastic Varsity coach last fall with an improved overall record of 11 wins, 8 losses, and 3 ties.  In 2006 After having successful seasons at the middle school level where he compiled seven Conference Championships in seven years coaching both the girls and boys of Carroll Middle School and Durant Road Middle School, he helped guide the Wolverines back to the State Playoffs for the first time since 2003.

Coach Sloan continues to place an emphasis on coaching education.  Already a holder of a variety of coaching licenses from the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association, in 2007 he received his USSF “National C” License and a NSCAA State Goalkeeping Diploma.  Recently, he was awarded an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
